Description
gaiatron is an advanced, autonomous IoT-based agrometeorological station designed and manufactured by NEUROPUBLIC S.A. for continuous environmental and agricultural monitoring.
Developed as a core component of the gaiasense Smart Farming ecosystem, gaiatron integrates multiple sensors to collect real-time atmospheric, soil, and crop-related data, including air and soil temperature, relative humidity, soil moisture, rainfall, solar radiation, wind conditions, and leaf wetness, depending on sensor configuration.
The stations are designed for reliable outdoor operation, using low-power electronics, autonomous power supply, wireless communications, and remote data transmission to NEUROPUBLIC's cloud-based IoT infrastructure.
Collected measurements are processed and integrated with satellite Earth Observation data and advanced analytics to support precision irrigation, crop protection, environmental monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
NEUROPUBLIC develops the complete gaiatron technology in-house, including hardware, firmware, software, sensor integration, and data management systems.
Already deployed across agricultural areas in Greece and other European countries, gaiatron represents a mature and field-proven IoT solution with potential applications in environmental monitoring, climate resilience, smart infrastructure, and research projects.
